| Subject: | [amigactive] Programs Probs with WinUAE |
Hello people,
I have a couple of questions regarding winuae ( I am using 0.8.17r2 )
My first question concerns AOS3.9 BB1. I have installed AOS3.9 and have
assigned the cd as amigaos3.9: cd0: add ( I have cd0: assigned to D: in the
harddrive section of the GUI ). Everything goes fine until the installer
starts checking the CD then it just stops. Nothing crashes or freezes it
just stops and the only option I have is to press abort. Anyone any ideas
what I am doing wrong or missing out?
My second question concerns the geneaology program Scion. Well, not scion
exactly but the sub program that accompanies it called Family Tree. I can't
get the program to produce an output. If I have the icon set to Start from
Workbench then when I run the program Kingcon starts and waits for a return
key press then informs me of a doio error.
If I have the icon set as Start From Shell then the execute file requester
pospup and pressing Execute gives the same error. Has anyone else come
across either of these and if so have they managed to overcome either?
Any help would be appreciated
